                                        Newtownards (Irish: Baile Nua na hArda)
                                                                      Originally known as Movilla, is a large town in
                                                                      County Down,  Northern Ireland.     
                                                                      The town lies at the most northernly tip of
                                                                      Strangford Lough, 16 kilometres (10 miles)
                                                                      east of Belfast, on the Ards Peninsula.
                                                                      Newtownards is the main town of the Ards Borough
                                                                      Council area.
                                                                      The 2007 population for the town is approximately 30,000.  


The band hall is is situated on the Comber Road just outside Newtownards Town Centre.
The band rehearses each Thursday night from 8 pm to 10 pm.      

The band has a number of vacancies and is keen to
hear from anyone young or old!
