Hazel started playing the tenor horn at the age of seven in her local Primary
School, and has progressed from second to first horn. Hazel played her first
solo ‘Catari, Catari’ with the band in the summer of 2005, playing it again
in February 2006 with the Fodens Richardson Band in the Civic Theatre in
Armagh. In the summer of 2006 she was a member of the five piece
ensemble that won the street musicians competition during the Armagh
summer school, and in February 2007 played ‘Feelings’ with Fodens.
